Issue 16: It’s a Student’s Life
Class is in session as we start off with a killer title from Animax, Wolf’s Rain, which is sure to make you all want to howl at the moon at least once! We took a closer look at the 31 girls of Negima, and marveled at the otaku student life of the fine people from Genshiken. We also visited the super cute Lucky Star, and the famous Da Capo. No student life issue is complete without a roaring School Rumble feature, where you can find out all you need to know about these wonderful students and their, err, wonderful ways?
Our manga section keeps pushing the tempo as it consists of the legendary Great Teacher Onizuka, the super cute Yotsuba and the intense Suzuka. Our Live Action section this time is about every male otaku’s fairytale, and we are pleased to bring you an in-depth Kotoko article (you guys requested it, we gave it!). Most students are very fashionable, so we sent our Otaku Traveler to Shibuya, one of Japan’s prime fashion districts. Again we’ve included a merchandise section, as well as something new that we are sure you will find very helpful – OTAKU Base. OTAKU Base is our new, comprehensive database, letting you know each and every anime, manga and live-action we have covered, and in what issue you can find them. Be sure to check it out on Page 80.
This issue made all of us want to be in high school again, well, at least an anime high school! We had great fun gathering info on the various titles, so much fun in fact that we won’t mention the grueling research and excruciating editing. No, just kidding! A big thanks goes out to you our readers for all your passionate support! We hope you will enjoy this issue!
