Which is your favorite hard working manga character?

Postby Petsu-chan on Fri Mar 13, 2009 8:12 pm

as the titles says who is your favorite hard worker and why did you choose this character (state the name of the manga too)...hard worker for example are characters who train or work constantly, usually having no special powers...people like rock lee..

Ippo from Hajime no Ippo

He just works so hard to be the best boxer, and yes, he may have one of the most powerful punches in japanese boxing, that doesn't mean that he doesn't lose, but he always works hard for his wins

so that is mine

The Elric brothers from Full metal Alchemist, you gotta admit. They never stopped till they got to their goal. Quite admirable I say

Raki from Claymore. He starts out as a weak little boy but he loves Clare and wants to be with her and help her. So when he was left on his own, he worked hard, tried his best to learn to use a sword with some help from Isley, and eventually he was able to kill yoma. He is a true hero.

Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. Not only does she work part-time while attending highschool, she also does all the Sohmas' housework. More importantly, she persevered in trying to break the curse of the zodiac spirits, devoting herself entirely to that goal.

Kintaro from Golden Boy.
Each chaper he is doing a differant work in which he always seem to learn fast and work hard mostly for the sake of others and his thrisrt for knowledge.
Even though Golden Boy is heavy perverted there are still good themes and lessons to be learned.

I've only seen the anime, but I agree.

Negi Springfield from Negima. He has a goal and he is always pushing himself to his limits to get to that goal.

Kinnikuman aka Suguru Egawa (sp?)

He is actually a pathetic and lazy character but when push comes to shove he really puts everything into it. His theme song is "Never give up Legendary comeback fighter Kinnikuman" so yeah. He does not actually train hard in the sense of the word but he has to work hard as hell to win because he is actually weak and always ends up getting dominated the first half of the fight but pulls through in the end.

P.s Yes I know this manga/anime is old as hell but nothing beats nostalgia.
