Otaku Magazine is aimed at a Target Market of ages 15-34, both genders and most income groups. The LSM (Life Standard Measurement) of the magazine is 6-10; as the publication grows, this may shift to 7 or 8 -10.

Currently, Otaku Magazine is a bi-monthly publication which is sold at a retail price of R28.95 an issue. The magazine has national coverage, and is available in all three major cities – Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.
